Here are the basic rules and regulations for the Guild. Stray from the code or break any laws in it and disciplinary action will be taken in accordance to the law broken. Most likely if you do not follow these rules, you will be set on temporary inactive status probation - meaning that you will be unable to participate in online gatherings until you can shape up. We also abide by the rule of baseball: Three strikes and you are out. This Honor Code is also subject to change or revision.

Pride
While playing in matches, members should wear their [tBoS] tags and wear them with pride. You should also have pride in your rank in the Clan. The higher the rank, the more respect you will gain from your elders and lower ranked members as well. You cannot be in any other Clan for the mod(s) we play. Although the tag is not required in normal Pub matches, it is a must when having an official match. If caught wearing a Guild tag other than [tBoS] in an official Guild match you will be asked to add it to your name. If you refuse, you are gone.

Respect
Upon entering a server, you should be respectful of your opponents and of your fellow teammates. It is ok to brag at times when you score a kill, but don't let it get to your head. Immaturity, disrespect and childishness will not be tolerated.

Respect Elders and Squad Leaders: The elders and squad leaders are here to help you throughout your journeys and missions in the wastelands. Therefore it is a given that you show them much respect. Without them, we would be a band of ruthless, unorganized raiders out to pillage and plunder citizens of the wastelands. Elders and Squad Leaders strengthen the Guild.

Leaders and Elders will respect members: A leader or elder of the Clan will always respect you, even if you are a fresh recruit or even a normal soldier. If you feel you have been treated poorly by any of the leaders, please email all leaders and we will gather for a meeting together. It is an honor to be in this clan and the Elders and Leaders should respect the fact that you made it into our ranks.

Cheating
This Clan has no room for people who can't play fairly or who cheat others just to gain kills. In the end, cheaters shall never win. If it has been reported you have been cheating, we will follow up on this and see if the reports were true or falsified. If the case comes that the reports were true, you will be stripped of whatever rank you are on the first offense if you are ranked higher than initiate. Any initiates found cheating will be kicked out of the Clan to wander the wastelands alone. To fend for themselves.

Recruitment
Any member of [tBoS] can refer a hopeful recruit to an Elder or Leader through electronic mail or through the message boards. Squad Leaders can refer members but cannot recruit them into our ranks.

The Clan Elders or leaders are the ones who will eventually decide after a tryout or upon witnessing a hopeful who is able to join our ranks. They will be examined on their social as well as gaming skills. They will then be notified and added to the roster.

Once a hopeful recruit has been seen in action or spoken to by an Elder or Leader, a tryout match will be held. Tryouts are just to see if you interact with the Clan in a humane way. After this has been executed, the Elders and/or Leaders will convene for a meeting to decide if this person will be added to the ranks.

When tryouts are scheduled, all members are invited to join in. Primary tryouts may only contain Brotherhood members. After this, we may allow an initiate or hopeful to join us in a scrimmage in a match going up against another Clan. Upon the acceptance of the new member, it will be announced in the site news, in IRC and the forums that we have added to our ranks. Join the rest of the Clan in welcoming new members once you see this.

Communications
If you are interested in joining in a tryout match and nobody has seen you in action, post a message on the forums, get a hold of a leader in the IRC channel #tbos on irc.gamesurge.net or email one of us via the forums.
